The Nordic NTAs return to DataCloud Global congress in Cannes 2025

Nordic NTAs Return to Datacloud Global Congress and Earn Award Nomination June 4-5, 2025
The Nordic national data center associations (NTAs) returned to the Datacloud Global Congress in Cannes on June 3–5, 2025, with the Nordic Pavilion and were nominated for a Datacloud Global Award in the Best Community Engagement category for their 2024 Nordic Data Center Week. We were honored to be nominated.

Showcasing the Nordic Advantage
Following a successful 2024 launch, the Nordic Pavilion once again spotlighted the region's strengths in sustainable, high-performance digital infrastructure. SweDCI highlighted Sweden's appeal to hyperscalers and operators, emphasizing the country's clean energy, stable climate, and digital expertise.
Ann Wingård, MD of SweDCI, said:
"We've only seen the beginning of Sweden's potential. AI's growth demands secure, energy-efficient infrastructure—something the Nordics are uniquely positioned to provide."
We had a lot of traffic around the Noridc stands with a high interest with many questions about investing in the Nordic region. The SweDCI stand was maned by Ann Wingård, Greger Ruud and Andreas Espeving.

Panel on Renewable Energy
A featured panel explored how Nordic data centers leverage renewable power sources like hydropower, wind, and geothermal to reduce carbon emissions and environmental impact. Panel led by Isabelle Kemlin, with Anders Frich Mathiesen, Chris Larsen, Martha Marie Øberg, and Kim Gunnelius
