Highlights from NDCW 2025:
- AI in the Classroom (Sept 22 & 23) – Students explored programming and AI concepts with Microsoft and KodCentrum, sparking curiosity about the digital future.
- Study Visits at Matakuten Sandviken & Gävle (Sept 22-24) – Guided tours demonstrated the impactful volunteer work supporting local communities.
- Building a Zero-Incident Future for Data Centers (Sept 22) – Webinar with Kenneth Jenkins from ONNEC focused on health and safety in data centers.
- #Digital Kick-Off Meeting: School Hackathon (Sept 22) – Engaging students in grades 4–6 in innovation, democracy, and entrepreneurship through hands-on challenges.
- SweDCI Member Meeting at Schneider Electric (Sept 23) –Networking and discussions among members to strengthen collaboration. Special thanks to Tomas Rahkonen, Research Director, Uptime Institute, for his presentation.
- Nordcad Webinar: Stranded Capacity in Data Centers (Sept 23) – Addressed inefficiencies and environmental impacts of unused capacity.
- Data Centre Security Workshop (Sept 23) – Hands-on STEAM workshop with AWS and KodCentrum, focusing on building secure data center systems.
- Webinar: Future-Proofing Energy Investments (Sept 23) – Siemens experts shared insights on energy management and simulation strategies.
- Atea IT-Arena in Stockholm and Gävle (Sept 23 and 25) – A full-day event for IT specialists and decision-makers to explore emerging technologies.
Your participation in these events has helped highlight Sweden as a hub for sustainable digital infrastructure and inspired the next generation of digital creators.
