Cyber Risk in Data Centers: A Shared Challenge for Stakeholders

Cyber threats to data centers are evolving rapidly, with growing impacts on operations, supply chains, compliance, and reputation. In this session, we will examine the latest cyber risk landscape for data centers, and discuss how these threats fit within a broader, enterprise-wide risk picture. We will then walk through practical strategies for reducing and managing cyber risk – from strengthening controls and response capabilities to leveraging risk transfer solutions such as cyber insurance – and review current trends in market coverage for data center operators, colocation providers, and their customers. Finally, we will show how financial quantification of cyber risk can help organizations prioritize investments and communicate cybersecurity decisions clearly to boards, CFOs, and operational leaders.
