EED Clarifications Released - A big step forward for sustainable datacenters

On April 10, 2025, the long-anticipated clarifications to the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) were finally released!

At SweDCI, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We've long championed Sweden as an ideal location for data centers, thanks to our cold climate and green energy mix. With the development of the EU database, Sweden is now in a prime position to showcase these strengths on a European stage.

🗓️ Key Dates to Remember:

• July 1, 2025 – New EED reporting starts.
• May 15, 2026 – Deadline for reporting 2025 data.
• ✅ Voluntary reporting is already open! You can now submit data for 2023 and 2024 go to Energimyndighetens webiste for more infomration:
