DCI Solutions selects products for each task from several manufacturers rather than from one catalogue, which reduces the risk of vendor lock-in. The company is new to the Swedish market but far from new to the industry: with roots in Finland, it has delivered data center infrastructure since 2012.
The core focus is the white space – the infrastructure surrounding and supporting the IT equipment: racks, busway systems and PDUs, UPS systems, cooling, hot and cold aisle containment, monitoring and DCIM, as well as modular and mobile data center solutions. DCI Solutions also delivers the data networks around it, from data center cabling to LAN, WLAN and optical networks.
As AI, GPU computing and increasing rack densities reshape the requirements of modern data centers, DCI Solutions sees the white space as one integrated system. Power, cooling, airflow, racks, and monitoring must work together to achieve high availability, energy efficiency, and long-term scalability. The solution is therefore refined already at the tender stage: dimensioning, equipment selection, integration, and the division of responsibility
