A Milesone has been reached

On June 9, the Swedish Data Center Industry reached 150 member companies — with 30 new members already in 2026.
A strong half-year milestone, and a clear signal of where the industry is heading.
The interest in SweDCI is growing because the relevance of datacenters is growing. AI, digitalization, cyber resilience, energy systems, heat reuse, regulation, skills and national competitiveness are now all connected through digital infrastructure.
Our 2026 Impact Study helped put facts behind what the industry already knows: datacenters are no longer a background IT function. They are strategic infrastructure for Sweden's economy, resilience and future competitiveness.
The momentum was also clear at Datacloud Global Congress in Cannes, where the Nordic Pavilion showed both the strength of Nordic collaboration and the international interest in Sweden as a destination for sustainable digital infrastructure.
A big thank you to all our members — old and new — for helping build this ecosystem.
150 members is not the finish line. It is a signal. The industry is growing.
The relevance is growing. And the need for a strong, fact-based industry voice has never been greater.
